SHIPPING

When will you ship my order?
All orders are usually shipped within 2 days after receiving payment. You can check the status of your order when you login and go to your past orders. Although sometimes an item may not be in stock temporarily, we will let you know the estimated shipping date by email. Please keep in mind that postal Holidays, weekends, and inclement weather can/will effect delivery times. International customers please note that customs inspection can also effect delivery times.

How much are the shipping costs?
We offer different shipping options, like insurance and different shipping companies to find the cheapest rates for you. You can choose from all these options once you checkout in our store. Also in your shopping cart you can see the estimated shipping costs for the items you'd like to order. But here are the rates for small packages as well:

1 - 5 or 6 LP's* Netherlands - 4.95 euro - Europe between 8.69 and 10.27 euro (depending on which country) - World 17.10 euro
1 - 2 EP's Netherlands - 1.84 euro - Europe 3.16 euro - World 5.70 euro
3 - 5 EP's Netherlands - 2.30 euro - Europe 6.32 euro - World 10.45 euro
6 - 20 EP's Netherlands - 4.95 euro - Europe between 8.69 and 10.27 euro (depending on which country) - World 17.10 euro
1 - 2 CD's Netherlands - 1.84 euro - Europe 3.16 euro - World 5.70 euro
3 - 4 CD's Netherlands - 2.30 euro - Europe 6.32 euro - World 10.45 euro
5 - 16 CD's Netherlands - 4.95 euro - Europe between 8.69 and 10.27 euro (depending on which country) - World 17.10 euro

* depending on what kind of LP's. For example gatefold LP's or 180 grams vinyl LP's are heavier, so then only 5 LP's can be shipped for that shipping price.

Of course double CD's / EP's / LP's and CD's with DVD's and such items are heavier as well. Please keep that in mind!

Why are the shipping prices for 1 LP so much?
Since January 2011 TNT postal service changed the prices for packages, deleting the packages until 500 grams, but on the other hand making packages until 2000 grams cheaper. This means that ordering 1 LP is quite expensive. We'd love to see this any other way, but there isn't much we can do about it. In fact these shipping rates are excluding 19% VAT, which we also have to pay, so we're even losing money on these shipping rates!

The only thing we can do is suggest to order more records, so you keep the average shipping low. Since shipping for 5 LP's is the same as for 1 LP.

What kind of shipping options and which shipping companies do you use?
We ship most packages with TNT postal service. This is a very reliable postal service and the main Dutch postal service. Most packages in the Netherlands get delivered the next day, and in Europe in 4-7 days. The only shitty thing is that on small packages there's no trackingcode.

For packages in the Netherlands you can also choose DHL. They're the cheapest in the Netherlands, but take a bit longer than TNT, mostly 3-4 days.

For larger parcels in Europe we also offer DPD. In some cases they're cheaper than TNT, but we do need your phonenumber to ship your package with DPD.
